MOVE! AT MoMA PS1

MOVE! is an art and fashion exhibition that offers, encourages, and requires the viewer to participate in the installation. For its first incarnation at MoMA PS1, curators Cecilia Dean and David Colman took over the entire institution and offered experiences for thousands of visitors.

MOVE! features 12 collaborations by world renowned artists and fashion designers for a live performance-based art and fashion event.

ALMOST A PERFECT DAY by DAN COLEN AND PROENZA SCHOULER

“Almost A Perfect Day” is a collaboration between artist Dan Colen, and Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. On October 28 and 29, clothes and accessories donated by Proenza Schouler were placed in trash cans, hung on scaffolding, and arranged on the street throughout New York City. Cameras were placed nearby to capture how people reacted to and interacted with them.
