Taking inspiration from G-Shock, the indestructible watch, Visionaire 63 FOREVER strives to be indestructible while exploring images and concepts that artists want to immortalize forever. This edition is made entirely of metal: Ten 9x12-inch embossed metal plates (the results of transforming 2D photographs by contemporary artists and fashion photographers into 3D reliefs) housed inside a stainless steel case.
To celebrate its launch, Visionaire chose the iconic and historically-rich Clocktower in TriBeCa, NYC. With the obvious reference to timepieces, Visionaire and the team at Bureau Betak takes it one step further and wraps the entire space in tin foil, in effect, creating the spatial incarnation of the issue, an immersive silver metal environment and experience.
