“I think one of the most exciting things for me as a kid was the androgyny,” he starts. “That was a really significant thing for me. It was always this kind of Ying Yang kind of character: there was always evil sex-crazed Prince and then there was always godly kind of spiritual Prince.”
Known for his fantastical set designs, people don’t normally see the Prince fanatic that is Gary Card. But ever since first discovering “the artist formally known as,” the London-based designer has been obsessed with both the man and the color—you know which one.
