In cinema, the performance of TASTE does not occur through direct experience of the body but within the constraints of the media representations constructed by the film itself. “How to Taste with Leo” aims to investigate how taste has been represented in film culture in the last 3 decades exclusively through the performances of one of the most iconic living actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, by creating a semiotic engagement between taste, celebrity fandom and pop culture in a piece that acquires a meditative-like dimension.
