Pringle of Scotland’s S/S 2016 Menswear show was anything but classic. The show opened with a special performance by the famed Michael Clark Company. Fluid and dynamic, the performance gave a sense of calm to the usual frantic pace of fashion week. The tender, abstract dance piece was brought into high focus by the dancer’s clothes – a stark mix of various pieces of black and white knit clothing, punctuated by white pearls at the throats of some of the dancers. The captivating clothing, combined with the sharp, yet refined moves of the dancers, made it impossible to not follow their every movement with your eyes. The show lent fashion-week attendees the one thing they were missing – peace.
